Bermuda Chub

The Bermuda chub’s body is silvery grey with light horizontal lines.  They are very oval shaped fish with a small mouth and black outlines on their fins.  They have rough feeling scales and an overall checkered pattern to their bodies.

They often gather in schools around offshore structures and reefs in the Atlantic.  They are aggressive nibblers that can steal your bait intended for other fish.

A small hook and cut bait would be a good approach to catch a Bermuda chub.
